About Me

Hello, my name is Khushi Patel. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, but my family is originally from Gujarat, India. I’m currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, majoring in Economics and Finance. I am interested in law, policies, and economic decisions that affect real people, which have shaped both my academic interests and career goals.

Work Experience 

My work experience involves some time in retail, a family business, and volunteering. These jobs have taught me various skills, including responsibility, communication, and hard work. These skills have been important in my academic and professional life.

Career Interests 

I am interested in law and policy work, especially with economic analysis. I like learning about and understanding why systems work the way they do and how they can be improved.

I am drawn to careers where I can work on public policy or legal cases, help communities through legal support, and analyze how economic decisions affect lives. 

Long-term, I see myself in a legal or policy-driven role, whether that is working with government, nonprofits, or a firm.
